For a good nights sleep:

  • Warm some milk either on the hob or in the microwave, grate in 1/4 teaspoon of fresh nutmeg and drink it before heading to bed.
  • Add some lavender to your pillowcase.
  • Brew some camomile tea (we prefer loose) and add a slice of lemon, drink this 1 hour before going to bed.

For an upset stomach:

  • Skip the dry toast - eat as much cooked rice (brown is better) as you can possibly consume (until you are very full) - this will help bacteria to leave your stomach & digestive tract.
  • Prepare some fresh ginger & lemon tea using a slice of lemon & a 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger root - allow to brew for 10 minutes in boiled water.

For a sore throat:

  • Gargle with salt & water.
  • Eat a pack of salt & vinegar crisps (no joke, but this is a short term solution if you need to give a speech or something).
